New Features

Trigger Atoms

A brand new type of Atom has been introduced — Trigger Atoms. Unlike regular Atoms, they don’t hold a value. Instead, they act like a button press to fire events anywhere in your experience.

  • Trigger Atoms can be fired from any Atom Setter.
  • The Atom Event System can now listen for and respond to Trigger Atoms.
  • A new Trigger Hotspot Atom has been added to Hotspots, letting hotspot taps fire a Trigger Atom.
  • The Atom Debug Menu now supports Trigger Atoms — press the “Trigger Atom” button to fire one while testing.

Atom Debug Improvements

  • User-defined Atoms now appear at the top of the Atom list in the debug menu, making them easier to find.

Bug Fixes

  • Audio Playback (Atom Event System): The Play Audio action now plays the correct audio clip. Previously it would always play the last clip in the list regardless of your selection.
  • Global Polymers: Fixed support for Global Polymers in Atom Expressions — they now resolve correctly.
  • Video Time Atom: Setting an Atom used as a Video Time Atom now correctly updates the video playback position.
  • Pan/Zoom Icons: These icons are now hidden when the Atom Debug System is open, preventing them from blocking debug controls.
  • Duplicate Draggable fixes:
    • Fixed positioning when duplicating a Draggable with Advanced Positioning off the edge of a surface.
    • Improved accuracy for objects duplicated via the Right-Click menu and Duplicate Button.
    • Hotspots no longer snap to the centre surface when duplicated.
    • Improved offset handling for objects with different Advanced Positioning settings.
  • Date/Time Atoms: Fixed an issue where Day of Week and Month of Year String Atoms were not being set correctly.
